Be sure to make the reservation for the Sunday $38 four-course tasting menu way in advance! There are only two seatings–one at 5 pm and one at 8 pm. The tiny space had at most 8 tables available. You get to watch the chef and his apprentice make every single dish and perfect it until served. The sashimi was a fresh appetizer, however the shellfish dumplings really wow’ed us. I would go back again just for the japanese style squid curry, but the pan-seared tuna was only so-so. Dessert? So embarrassing I don’t even want to post a photo. Some people left without even finishing it.
