I pre-ordered mine, got it today and I LOOOOOOVE IT!!!!  It’s perfect for someone like me who just wants to watch my video library, Prime vids, Netflix, etc. without burning up my laptop trying to watch everything.  It hooked up to my wi-fi right away and the only thing I have to watch out for is making sure my kid doesn’t steal the little remote and have it disappear to where the dozens of other socks from every dryer goes to, lost-and-found purgatory or whatever you want to call it.  It does slow down and sometimes you have to restart whatever you’re watching (I’ve only been watching the end of Season 4 of Haven on Netflix and now I’m FINALLY caught up with the story lines and whatnot), but it’s still great quality and will be a lot easier to relax with my kid or Mom or friends and just enjoy watching a

It’ll be great for my kid too because it will save so much money not having to buy DVD’s for what I can just watch with this lil Amazon USB gizmo.  I’ll just have to remember not to feed it after midnight.

When my husband and I were dating, we’d go to the movies constantly — two or three times a week wasn’t uncommon for us. We had few responsibilities and lots of expendable income and it was something we enjoyed doing together. Plus, on Tuesday nights, we got free popcorn at our local theater, and how could anyone resist that?!
